Surf & Turf Karate Camp

    Ages 8+

    9am-3pm (4pm on Beach Days)

    Location: Karate-Do Ken Wa Kan: 34 west 15th street, ground floor, NYC 10011 & Far Rockaway Beach 67

    Kids bring lunch, snack is provided

    $1200/week 

    Kids split their time between surfing at Far Rockaway Beach and Karate "Turf" training/ game play at Ken Wa Kan Headquarters. Led by Karate Master, Shihan Michelle (and surfer) and TocoToby Surf, children learn the basics of surfing, (or intermediate-advanced skills depending on their level) as well as skills in balancing, grounding, and karate techniques. Other activities include, Surf & Turf Games, Crafts & Activities, and movies. 

    No experience necessary, all surf & turf equipment provided.

Dungeons & Dragons Karate Camp

  • August 11-15

    9am-3pm

    Age 9+

    $1000

    Kids bring lunch, snack is provided!

    Join Dungeon Master Senpai George on a Karate themed Dungeons & Dragons Campaign of epic proportions!

    Activities Include:

    Daily Campaign Game Play

    Creating a specialized Dungeons & Dragon Karate Character

    Dungeons & Dragon Crafts:

    • Painting Game Piece Tokens

    • Props, Costume Pieces, Weapons

    Epic Scavenger Hunt Field Trip

    Campaign themed trips to the park for outdoor game play & Live Action Role Play (Also for playing in the playground)

    Campaign themed Dojo Games

    All children will be provided with dice and other required materials to play.

Tournament Training Camp

  • August 25-29

    Ages 6+

    9am-3pm

    $1000

    Kids bring lunch, snack is provided!

    All Levels welcome! Kids will be trained in tournament kata, weapons and sparring to prepare for a mock tournament at the end of the week and to prepare for upcoming Fall 2025 tournaments!
